Maruti Suzuki Ertiga 2022 has been launched with several updates. The starting price of this MPV has been kept at Rs 8.35 lakh, while the top variant ZXi+ is priced at Rs 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the first time that the CNG option will also be given in the top variant of the Maruti Ertiga. Updates have also been given to the look and features of the updated Ertiga.
Ertiga was first launched in India in 2012. It is often included in the list of top-10 selling cars in the country. The company has sold more than seven lakh units of it. The pre-bookings for this MPV started earlier this month for Rs 11,000.
Introduced in 11 variants
The latest Ertiga has come in four trims and 11 broad variants. Three automatic options have been given in the VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+, while the CNG option is also available in two variants.
Will get 20.30 kmpl mileage
New-generation Maruti Suzuki Ertiga 2022 petrol engine with manual transmission gives a mileage of 20.51 kmpl. At the same time, it gives a mileage of 20.30 kmpl with automatic transmission. While the mileage of the new Ertiga in CNG mode is 26.11 kmpl. The CNG variant only comes with a manual gearbox.
New grille, 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system
2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga gets a new grille, 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, engine start-stop button, height-adjustable driver seat, and Suzuki Connect telematics. It will be available in a total of 6 color options – Splendid Silver, Magma Grey, Pearl Metallic Arctic White, Prime Oxford Blue, and Auburn Red in addition to the new Pearl Metallic Dignity Brown.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Engine and Transmission
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga 2022 is powered by the improved K-series 1.5-litre Dual VVT engine. The petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual unit and a new 6-speed torque converter automatic unit. Paddle shifters are also available in the automatic gearbox. Earlier it was available with the option of a 4-speed torque converter.
